Inspiring Change
This program is delivered as an in-house company program with a strong focus on action learning, tangible outcomes and evaluation. Each delivery of the program is accompanied by the creation of change projects which are supported and evaluated by a collaborative team made up of MGSM and company personnel.
During the program participants will gain a better understanding of their own leadership character and the skills they need to develop in order to inspire change in others.
This program provides insights, guidelines, simulations and cases of what change looks like at the level of the individual, the work team and the organisation as a whole. Using a set of resources provided prior to the program, which include an internet simulation, DVD and resource website, Inspiring Change immerses you in a three day experience, enabling you to analyse your own ‘character’ and role in change.
This program explores all the issues that managers inevitably face in the main phases of change - 'getting in', 'getting on' and 'getting out'. Success is more than understanding different change management tools. It is about developing and deploying a 'change mindset' that carries you through the challenges that change throws up. It is about an ability to be open and reflective, creative and innovative. It is also about confidence, courage and persistence. Hence, this development program focuses more on experiential learning and self development in the process of making change happen. It uses an internet simulation, video case material, and individual and group reflection activities to explore personal change capabilities and issues of personal development, reputation and integrity. The assumption is that it is essential to both inspire others and yourself in bringing about significant organisational change.
